Tips For Getting The Most From Your Flat Iron

Before you start styling, apply a small amount of straightening serum through damp strands. They keep the strands from heat damage while smoothing frizz and fly-aways. Whatever styling cream you apply, ensure it is a lightweight formula that won't weigh your hair down or make it look greasy. You want your strands to look full and healthy, not drowning in product.
You should keep away from trying to straighten too much hair immediately. To put off a hair iron from tugging and pulling, it is vital to separate hair into one inch sections. Trying to straighten too much hair can lead to breakage and may also make your hair less straight than it could be if it is done in smaller sections.
Set your flat iron to the proper heat setting once your hair dry and ready for styling. If you have really thick or coarse hair, arrange the temperature to the highest heat setting only. For all other types of hair, put the iron to a medium setting.
