Hair Types And Flat Irons

There are so many different types of flat irons that come in various sizes, shapes, and materials. So when choosing, you must first consider you hair type. If you have thinner or less unruly hair, pick a flat iron with a lower functioning temperature. If you have coarse or thick hair, prefer a flat iron that is a high heat straightener.

For those with thick hair, choosing a flat iron that is wider allows you to straighten more hair at a time. This can save you time. You can choose a flat iron that is smaller if you have thinner hair. Smaller flat irons are easier to handle but are more time-consuming to use. The best flat irons are generally the ceramic ones. They do the least amount of damage to your hair.

When using a flat iron, it is vital to remember not to keep the flat iron on your hair for too long. Do not run the flat iron too many times through your hair, as you risk damaging your hair or burning it.
